Concrete
Tesdell Electric offers the service of pouring concrete on jobs where a lot of electrical work is involved in the concrete itself. The picture to the left shows us setting up for a generator pad. The generator will weigh in excess of 25 tons; therefore the pad must be very substantial. The location of service pipes to the generator are critical.
A rebar pattern of two layers and deep columns are made up by the steel workers to add strength to the pad. Tesdell crews bored the holes.
The conduits from the pad are run to the nearby building wall and placed to rise up to the next floor. When the wall is completed the conduits will be hidden. Precise placement is necessary.
Concrete is poured carefully to avoid moving pipes and damaging layout. Any bolts in concrete are placed at this time to insure accuracy.
We also pour transformer pads, satellite pads and light pole bases.
